[Special to Standard.] Fobbury, This Day. The weathe* is fine and the course in splendid order. Following are the results:— Hurdles. Eebel (D. Smith) ... t Invader (J. Cotton) ... + Silver Stream 3 Masterpiece was the only other starter, The dead-heaters were together the whole of the way, awl there was never more than a length difference at any stage of the journey. Most of the spectators thought Rebel won by a short neck. A protest was entered on the ground that Rebel bored, but it was dismissed. Time, Smin 14sees. Divs, —Rebel, 4*l 5s ; Invader, £1 12s. The owners agreed to divide. Kensington Handicap. Hippomones (M'llroy) ... 1 Captive (Rainbow) ... 2 Jane Eyre (Marks) ... B Time, 2 min, sees. Lord Rosalyn was the only other starter. Won in the easiest of canters by a length and a half. Div., £1 ss. Winter Hurdles. Belmont 1 Ilex 2 Silverstream ... ... 8 Won by 100 yds. Time, -imtfi 13sec. Div., &i 9s.
