In the course of an interview, Mr Bryan, the Democratic candidate, declared himself convinced that he would be elected to the Presidency. It is declared, however, that the split in the ranks of the party, caused by the selection of General Pa-lmer by the Indianopolis Convention, will cost Mr Brvan a million votes.
