TURKISH ATROCITIES.

HORRIBLE DETAILS OB 1 MASSACRES. WOMEN AND CHILDREN KILLED AND OUTRAGED. Constantinople, Sept. 2. Terrible details are given of the massacre. In several quarters of the city every male Armenian was massacred. Forty-five women and children who took refuge on the flat roof of a house were slaughtered, and their bodies thrown down into the street. Numbers of others were outraged. In some cases the Armenians fought desperately. Four hundred soldiers were killed in the attack upon the Ottoman Bank. The bank authorities, fearing that they will be charged with complicity in the outbreak, and having since discovered a mass of dynamite under the main staircase, intend to send all « their Armenian officials abroad. It k believed that the 400 Moslems arrested on the charge of committing excesses are really members of the young Turkish Party.
