A WIN FOB NEWCASTLE

Newcastle, August 29

The sculling match between Towns and Neilsen was rowed to-day. Neilsen led by a length for a couple of miles but then the pace, which had been a cracker, broke him up and he ceased rowing, allowing Towns to row home at his leisure. The three miles were covered in 19min 45sec.
