SIR JOHN MILLAIS' FUNERAL.
♦— — A DISTINGUISHED CORTEGE. London, August 20. Lords Rosebery and Wolseley and Sir H. Irving Calderon and Holruan Hinii, painters, were the principal pall-bearers at Sir John Millais' funeral. There were 52 carriages in the procession. The Queen and Prince of Wales sent wreaths. The remains were buried close to the late Lord Leighton's grave.
