Trwmble two wickets for 68, M'Kibbin six for i 6, and Jones one for 9. The Australians were all out for 204, the principal scorers being : —■ Darling 29 Trott 17 Tramble ..." ... 2S Johns 10 M'Kibbin 22 Gregory, not out ... 71 Bowling Analysis. Jessop two wickets for 55 and Townsend eight for 79. Grace and Rico made 81 for the first wicket, but four were out for 7 more runs. Jessop, Sewell and Grace all batted pluckily, but the rest gave a weak exhibition. M'Kibbin bowled splendidly, and the fielding was excellent. Townsend proved to be in great form with the ball when the Australians went to the wickets, and dismissed Trott, Donnan, Hill and Graham in three overs for three runs. Gregory played with great confidence. He hit seven fours and did not give a chance. August 21. Owing to heavy rains the AustraliaGloucestershire match was not resumed to-day. Result of tour :—Matches played, 29 ; won, 17 ; lost, 5 ; drawn, 7.
