QUEENSLAND v. CANTERBURY. [By Telegraph.] [Special to Standard.] Christchurch, This day. "• Canterbury met Queensland at Lancaster Park yesterday afternoon. The attendance was large, and the weather splendid for play. The game was interesting throughout, and was doubtful right up to "No side" being called. The excitement at times was intense. Queensland received their fourth defeat, being defeated by 16 points to 14. The game was played in a very friendly spirit, and the visitors are well pleased with their treatment.
