INTERVIEW WITH ME GLADSTONE. COM PLAINS OF COLONIAL RESTRICTIONS ON CHINESE. London, August 17. Li Hung Chang, in his interview with Mr Gladstone, said China had determined to construct a complete system of railways. Ho referred to the barriers raised against the Chinese in Australasia, and Mr Gladstone replied that the union between England and the colonies was quite voluntary.
