A MARINE COLLISION.

SERIOUS DAMAGE DONE. Lonikin, August 17. The French steamer, Qnatrc Amis, and the ship Cape York—the latter bound for an Australian port—came into collision off Scheldt. The Cape York had her bowsprit carried away and was towed hark to port for repairs. The Quaere Amis was more seriously damaged and was beached to prevent her foundering.
