Wellington Supreme Court.
[By Telegraph] [Special to Sta.vd.uu>.] Wellington, August 4. In the Supreme Court Arthur Walcofc pleaded guilty to forging orders for advertisements in the Newtown Advocate, and was sentenced to 18 months' hard labor. Herman Weisner, found guilty of having criminal knowledge of his own daughter, aged 11 years, was remanded for sentence. The charges against Austin Kirbv, exdetective, have been fixed for Monday next. Lottie Krieg, charged with forging a Post-oftice order, was acquitted. This day. In sentencing Weisner, of Fielding, for incest, the Chief Justice ordered the prisoner to be imprisoned with hard labor for the full term allowed by law, namely 10 years.
