GENERAL ITEMS. Melbourne, July 31. The Supreme Court has sanctioned the Commercial Bank scheme .with slight amendments. The Premier has promised to suspend for six months his decision to refuse a subsidy to any hospital compelling nurses to work more than 48 hours weekly.
