EUROPEAN AND FOREIGN. London, July <BO. The Moslems sacked four Christian villages at ICerakleirn and profaned the churches. Mr Chamberlain has invited the various Agents-General to suggest to their respective Governments that the colonies should be represented at the Paris Exhibition, and join with Great Britain in making an excellent display of products. The New Zealand Shipping Company is issuing £300,000 worth of 4 per cent, debentures at par. July 81. The Agents-General have promised to direct the attention of the colonies to the proposal to codify the commercial law. The Irish Land Bill passed its third reading without division amid loud cheering. The Times says the Newfoundland accounts show that the surplus announced by the Government at the end of the financial year was largely fictitious. Fifteen months' Customs revenue was included in the receipts. The World's Socialist Workers Congress has admitted the Anarchists to their proceedings. Athens, July 80. The Government has ordered two regiments to Larissa, and other movements of troops are being made in the direction of the frontier. St. Petersburg, July 30. The Russian loan, a portion of which was assigned to France, has been subscribed tweafcy-five fold.
