ANOTHER THREAT BY THE GOVERNMENT. London, July 21. By a majority of 198 the House of Commons has agreed to suspend standing orders and allow ment business to proceed at any hour except on Wednesday. Mr Balfour says if opposition is offered to the Irish Land Bill, Navy Reserve Bill, London University, and Public Health Bills they will be abandoned. The Government hoped to be able to pass the Deceased Wife's Sister and Shop-hours Bill.
