Hobakt, July 14. Horsely has been found guilty of the wilful murder of his wife at Derby. Bkisbane, July 14. A reply has been sent by the Government to Lord Chamberlain that Queensland approves of the appointment of Judge Windeyer to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. Melbourne, July 14. •Jones writes to the Cricket Council at Adelaide stating that he has signed an agreement with Sussex County as a ground bowler for five years at i'BGS per annum, with house, and all expenses. He returns with the team, and leaves with his family for England next March. Sydney, July 18. A fracas occurred in the Hotel Australia last eveningbetween Meagher and Crick, and one of them vouchsafed the information that they are not now on speaking teams, the cause of their estrangement being a money transaction and an article in the Bulletin. The men's delegates to the Board have recommended the acceptance of the mine owners' terms. The ballot of the miners' lodges will be completed to-day. The news of Stanbury's victory was received here with great enthusiasm.
