CABLES.
DEMANDS BY THE CRETANS. Athens, July 9. The Christians in Crete demand that they shall have economic autonomy. They offer to pay tribute to Turkey, but demand the appointment of a Christian Governor, who shall possess the right to veto any measures passed by the Parliament of the country.
