TLiE BARQUE COEOMANDEL. [By Telkukapu.] rSPFCIAJL TO STANDARD.] 'Wellington*, This day. There are claims against the barque C'oromandel, now lying on the bottom of Wellington Harbor, aggregating nearly £IOOO. These comprise the salvage by the crew and their wages claim, a sum of £IOO lent to Captain Bendall on behalf of the vessel, and, of course, the lawyers' fees. As there is only a sum of £IOO in the bank to the credit of the ship from the sale to Mr Saunders, there is not much chance of the claims being met. The captain ha> left "Wellington, the Home underwriters' make no sign, and the owner cannot be discovered very readily.
