+ A MAN ATTEMPTS TO SHOOT A YOUNG LADY. and afterwards kills HIMSELF. Fkrth, June 29. A sensational incident occurred in Perth last evening. A young woman named Watson was shot at by a man named Anderson, a Swede. He fired two shots from a revolver, both of which took effect, but as they entered the fleshy part of the body, no fatal effects are likely to result. The wounds are very severe, and the young woman received a shock to the system. Andersen, .Sieving he had killed his victim, turned the weapon upon himself, the bullet passing through the heart and killing him instantly. No cause for the deed is at present known.
