RE-ARRANGEMENT OF PORTFOLIOS. ' Hy Ti h'nra))h —<hm (.'onrxpomlcnt.) Special to Standard. Wellington, this day. The re-arrangement of portfolios lias been completed with the following result : The Premier will bo Colonial Treasurer, Postmaster-General, Minister in charge of the Government Life Insurance Department, Minister of Labor, Native Affairs, and Customs, resigning only the portfolio of Defence. The Hon J. McKenzie will be Minister of Lands, and have charge of the Advances to Settlers and Public Trust Offices. The Hon A. J. Cadman continues as Minister of Mines and Railways. The lion T. Thompson vakes the postfolio of Defence in addition to those of Police and Justice. The Hon Mr Carroll will be a member of the executive representing the Native race, and Colonial Secretary. The Hon Mr Hall-Jones is Minister of Works and the Minister in charge of the Printing Office, and Minister of Marine. The Hon Mr Walker is Minister of Education and Minister in charge of Hospitals and Charitable Aid. If the Attorney-Generalship be filled up, about which some doubt exists at present, it will be conferred either on Mr McNab or Mr Guinness.
