TIMBER EXPORT TRADE.
SUCCESS OF WEST AUSTRALIAN WOOD. Pehtii, June 20. The success which has attended the use of Australian hardwoods for street paving in England is causing a boom in the timber industry. An English syndicate is negotiating for a timber area on the Darling ranges, embracing 100,000 acres, and there are many other applications for smaller areas.
