THE VENEZULEAN SURVEYORS THE CABLE CODE. AMERICAN POLITICS. London, June 21. The Governor of British Guiana has ordered the surveyors not to resist the Venezuelans, and to retire. The Agents-General have protested against the compulsory use of the cable code, on the ground that it is inadequate and unworkable. They propose to postpone it for five years. Washington, June 21.
