— A PROTEST IniJM THE DAIRYING CONFERENCE. Mei.boi.-rnf., May 21. The Dairying Conierence is much dissatisfied at, and is protesting to the Government against, the appointment of a New Zealand dairy expert, on the grounds that the climate of the two colonies is so different that it would he three years before a New Zealander understood the climate conditions sufficiently to give practical advice.
