THE MURDER OF ME STOKES

THE MATABELE LYING IN AMBUSH. London, May 7. There is a strong feeling among members of the House of Commone interested in Africa that if Mr Rhodes is suddenly recalled it will seriously aggravate the troubles. Great Britain has appealed against the decision in Major Lothaire's trial for the murder of Mr Stokes. Cape Town, May 8.
