Sib,—l have to thank your correspondent Lover of Skating for directing our attention to the fact that Mr Eaton, the champion skater, is in Gisborne, and also for the kindly remarks concerning the programme for the carnival. The Committee have taken the matter into consideration, and hope to be able to arrange a skating race in which the champion will compete,—l am, etc., W. Milwb. Hop, Seeretary.
