The Old Rebel Means it this Time.

TE KOOTI SATS HE IS COMING. NATIVE MINISTER COUNSELS HIM. Reposts are again rife as to Te Kooti’s intention of visiting this district, and it is understood he has definitely announced his determination of coming this time at all hazards. Mr Graham, M.H.R., telegraphed to the Government with regard to the-matter, and pointing out lhe trouble to which such a visit might lead. Mr Mitcheleon telegraphed back from Auckland "I received a letter from Te Kooti, notifying the Government of his intention of visiting Gisborne, and wrote to him on the 23rd instant, giving, strong reasons why it was inadvisable he should do so.” On Saturday afternoon it was reported that Te Kooti had already started on the journey, and was well on his way, but so far we have received no news in confirmation. From what the natives say it appears that Te Kooti has made up his mind to pome this tims without fail, and that he will risk any trouble that might be caused by his triumphal reappearance on the scans of his former butcheries.
