ARRIVALS.
The Maitai arrived in the Bay at 9.30 on Thursday evening, from Northern ports. Passengers : Hit G. Whitmore and one native. The Australia came into the roadstead, from South, at an early hour yesterday morning. Passengers : Mrs Ashby, Misses Herbert, Clements, and Spencer; Meesrs Doherty, Gardner, Abbott, Fordham, Pownell, Ashby, Gardiner, Lawton, Lindsay, Grenville, Bogers, Donaldson (2), and Somers The Wairarapa arrived from Sydney and Auckland shortly after noon yesterday, with Captain Chriap and other passengers. DEPARTURES. The Maitai proceeded South on Friday, at 8 o’clock, taking—Mr Ward and child. The Australia left for North at 10 o clock yesterday morning. * The Wairarapa went on to Melbourne, via South, shortly after seven last evening. She took the following passengers:- Mesdames Waugh and child, and Dunlop ; Miss Walters; Messrs Oldaker, MeLevy (2), Hill, Espie, Cooper, Finn, and Mills. IMPORTS. The Botomahana arrives from Melbourne via South, early to-morrow. The last launch leaves at 7 a.m. * The cotter Venus is now due from Auckland with a cargo of timber.
