Harbor Rates.
[TO THE EDITOR.] Sir, —Noticing a remark in your evening contemporary anent the action of the Board against Mr McKenzie for rates supposed to be due by him, and the liability for which, permit my saying, the higher tribunal has decided i»his favor, I should like you, if palatable, to say that Mr McKenzie in the action taken by him, or rather his course of action, has appreciated his position and the value of the property owned by him. Your contemporary no doubt, in my mind would have given their readers a different aspect of the matter ha they not had timely warning of the truth -f the decision, and it ig <o be hoped 'hat the existing state of affairs will he fully placed before those upon wh-.m liability will be placed before further responsibility is incurred.
