THE IRISH QUESTION
THE COMMISSION OF INQUIRY, STRONG ACCUSATIONS AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT. London, July 31. In the House of Commons last night a heated discussion took place, and various amendments to limit the inquirv were rejected. Mr Morley and Mr Gladstone attacked the Government, accusing them of bias against the Parnellites. Mr Parnell accused Mr Chamberlain of betraying Cabinet secrets to Irish members, and trying always to undermine the Irish plans of his colleagues.
