A WAR SCARE.

BESULT OF BROKEN CABLES. Mxlbovbxf, yesterday. Owing to the sudden interruption of the cables great excitement prevailed here, it being thought that war had broken out. Everything was got ready for fighting, submarine mines were laid down and the entrance to the harbor was illuminated with the electric light The scare is now subsiding. The Government states the occasion was taken advantage of to test the efficiency of the forces.
