Tha fallowing additional partieulara are to hand in connection with the prize fight between Jem Smith, champion ot England, and Jake Kilrain, of America, for the champion, ship ot the world And tile New York Police Gazette diamond belt which came off near Rouen, in the North oi Francd, on the Morning pt the 10th i ietant. It had been pre, viouely announced that the e..counter would take place at aome spot north of Spain, and the ruse waa completely successful. The two principals and a tew ot their backers being able to reach th'd appointed rendezvous without attracting the attention ot either the British or French police authorities. The fight was of a moat desperate character and lasted for 106 rounds, when both combatants were ao severely punished and exhausted that the referee ordered the combat to cease, and de. dared it drawn. Tne whole party including Ifilrain and Smith were at once driven away from the place and the news of the encounter was not allowed to transpire until it was considered ihatall ■parties concerned were beyond the reach ot the Fieneh police.
