Rowing Notes.
[BY '• OOTKtOOKB."] The Gisborne Bowing Club have decided to row off tlieir trial-four races in the second week of December, the course being ftom the brickyard to the Club's sued. The different crews have beau in active training fur ths laat loi'lniglit, and are just beginning to show a little form. The following are the crew. . BuCbns'h OHBW. Bourne (12.7). strake Nkeet (9-7). No. 2 Bullen (XU.4/. 8 E. Cnusp (9.10). bow Mtuea's anew. W. Miller (11.7). stroke Adair (9.7), No. 2 opurdis tld.it/, 8 Bcere(9.7j bow obbbn's cbbw, Green (9.8), stroke Teal (9.6), No. 2 Boom (10. J), 3 Young (9 6j, uow At present Bourn's crew are the favorites, on account of ins having all old rowers in his team, but sums of the juniors, with diligent practice, will take a lot uf beating. (Lsen's crew keep excellent time, and with a little coaching will make the pace warm for their opponents. Mi.lev's crew average about a stone heavier ti>an the others, aud appear to ba iu fair condition, so that cluse finishes may be expected.
