FURTHER DEVELOPMENTS, LIVELY SCENEs"IN - THE CHAMBER. Pahis, November 0. During the discussion on the appointment of a Commission to enquire into the War Office scandals, M. Bouvier denied that the enquiry into the scandals was levelled at Grevy, and he said he also considered a Parliamentary enquiry into the use of stamps for franking letters, etc., not required. Uproar ensued, and it was only by a majority of seven that the resolution was carried for a general enquiry into the transactions of the War office for the last ten years. Subsequently a large majority granted the Commission extensive powers.
