BULGARIAN THRONE.

RUSSIAN INTRIGUES FEARED. SALISBURY SUSPICIOUS. London, August 15. Bulgarian affairs are causing the gravest anxiety here. Prince Ferdinand has been received with great ovations in the Bulgarian provinces, but serious results are feared from the Russian intrigues which are known to be current. It is stated that Russian emissaries are actively stiring up sedition, and that a coup d’etat may daily be expected. The Standard, a Government organ, states that Lord Salisbury has addressed a strong remonstrance to the Cabinet of St. Petersburg respecting the conduct of its agents at Sofia.
