U.S. NAVAL COLLISION
(Rec. 9.10). NEW YORK, Nov. 12. The U.S. Navy has announced that the submarine “Tusk”, which was damaged during the naval manoeuvres in the North Atlantic, reached Argentia, in Newfoundland, yesterday, after a journey of five hundred miles. The “Tusk” collided with a supply ship, the “Aldebaran”. The Navy said that an examination, showed that the damage was so slight that the “Tusk” would have remained on duty under actual war-time conditions.
