OBITUARY
Mr William Pendelbury The death took place last evening at the Grey Hospital of Mr William Pendlebury, of Clifford Street, Blackball, after a lengthy illness. Born in Bolton, Lancashire, "England, 76 years ago, he came to New Zealand in 1923 to reside in Blackball. Mr Pendlebury there was a carpenter by occupation, and was well known in the Blackball district. Predeceased by his wife in England, he is survived by one son, Alexander (Blackball). The funeral will leave Bellamy's Chapel for the Karoro Cemetery to-morrow afternoon.
