TRUCK TRAGEDY
NEW YORK, November 11. A truck carrying cotton pickers collided with a heavy tractor trailer near Gila Bend, Arizona, killing eight men and injuring 15 others, to-day. Twenty-three pickers were riding in a truck, the police said, when the driver attempted to pass a slowmoving trailer. The truck swerved on the rain-soaked highway, and smashed into the trailer’s side. The truck’ overturned four times, hurling dead and injured over 200 yards.
