FATALITIES ON FARMS
P.A. AUCKLAND, November 13. The body of Mrs Augusta Macky, aged 69, the wife of Mr J. L. Macky, was found in a trough, on her husband’s farm, at F'irongia, yesterday. She had been drowned. A farmer was found electrocuted, in his shearing shed, yesterday. He was John Murray Askew, aged 43, of Te Awamutu. Askew had been shearing, and he was using an electric shearing machine. The shears fell, and a piece of their bakelite handle broke off. When Askew retrieved the shears, he received the full force of the cu"renc. and was killed. His body was found by his wife. He had ’ three children.
