THE TURF Disqualification Is Lifted

P.A. AUCKLAND, Nov. 8 The Auckland District Committee to-day upheld an appeal by the jockey, J. Mokaraka, against a suspension of two months imposed on him by the stewards of the Whangarei Racing Club on October 28. Following the running of the Huanui Hack Hurdles on the first 7 day of the meeting, the stewards held an inquiry into the running of Gay Youth, which finished second. Their finding, was that the horse was not ridden on his merits.
