The final of the club senior chain pionshjp was played on Sunday ovei 36 holes. Despite overnight rain ano occasional showers in the , morning the course was in splendid order. Th( socring was good. The finalists were D. L. Woon and Dr. D. R. Ryder Completing the first 18 holes in 70 strokes to Ryder’s 76, Woon led 6 up. In the second rot’nd he increased the lead to win 10 and 9, completing the round in 68, four under par, while Ryder again" recorded 76. The Jubilee Cup final between C. Petersen and J. Alexander was won by Petersen 3 and 2. In the quarWr finals, of the four' ball championship results were: J. Jones and R. Smith beat A. Pain and E. Fair at the 20th, j. Queripel and D. Fountaine beat R. Davis and K. Broad 8 and 7; J. Brown and W. Fenrson heat C. Harrison. and C. Petersen 2 and 1 and H Maitland and R. Broberg beat. IL and B. Lovell, 2 up.
