Liquid Glass As Plaster Cast
LONDON, Oct 9
A soccer player with t a broken wrist-used a new type .of plastic protection to guard his injury when playing football yesterday. He had been unable to play for three weeks because the plaster cast was unwieldly dangerous to opponents. The new casting is in the form ,of liquid glass, which sets with ironlike firmness within minutes, and has practically no weight. Doctors believe that the 'new invention will be of considerable value for young children with broken bones.
