TABLE TENNIS
TOURNAMENT A successful table tennis tournament was concluded in the Cobden School Hall on Thursday evening. The tournament was conducted by the Cobden Queen committee. Compett'jon was keen, and there were some very evenly contested matches. The men’s singles was won by A. Offord, a new-comer to the Coast. In the semi-finals he decisively beat his oponent, K. Tabb 21/15, 21/12, and in the final, defeated B. O’Donnell 21/15, 21/11.
