In a fast and exciting game, Hornets proved their superiority over Marvels in the final of the Indoor Men’s championship for the Pegley Cup. Hornets played a cool and steady game all the way. whilst Marvels were well beiow form, due to becoming rather rattled, and as a result suffered heavily at the hands of the referees, Messrs T. McKenzie and D. Moore, losing no fewer than two players through fouls, whilst a umber more were on the border line. This week a new round competition will commence for both men and women.
