The Greymouth postal district last week exceeded fourfold its quota in Nationa’ Savings. The following are the figures for the week ended July 29, as reported by the district organiser, Mr R. Ware: —

During the week the district and Kumara were successful in obtaining their respective annual quotas. The position- of the offices, on a percentage basis is as follows: — Kumara 242 per cent.. Blackball 137, Greymouth 111. Reefton 98, Brunnerton 95, Ross 83, Runanga 81. Otira 78, Hokitika 55, Wa'.uta 50, and the district 100 per cent.
