Tightrope Walker And Daughter Fail 120 Feet into River
N.Z.P.A. —Reuter. (Rec 11.50) VIENNA, July 18. Thousands of spectators saw a tight rope walkei' and his 16-year-old daughter, crash to their deaths from a rope which was stretched up 120 feet' above the Danube Canal, in Vienna yesterday. The man was carrying his daughter on his shoulders, when he lost his footing.
