More-than 35,000 German refugees, from the Eastern European countries applauded one of their number at Friedberg when he sa,id.--“We stand as a proof, before God, for the right of the Gennaxx people to their hereditary lebensraum —living space—in the east.” Another speaker, the Labour Minister, Herr Josef Arndoen, said that it was important to “show the world by this mass meeting, that the effects of the Potsdam Agreement which has caused the forced migration of huge numbers of people, poverty, and need, cannot be accepted silently.” Police State Methods— Secret German Agents (Rec. 10.40) BERLIN, July 18. The British licensed “Teiegraf”, began today the publication of a list of three hundred alleged. German agent of the Soviet secret police in the Soviet zone province of Brandenburg. The paper’ said: Officials of the Suvi 0 '- secret police have recently ocen soarJiing tor a list of their German agents, which has been lost. The ■"ielegrai” claimed to Have pos-ses-ion of this list. It added that it would make public thirty of the names each day.
