WRESTLING Managoff Again
P.A. DUNEDIN, May 2. The Dunedin wrestling season opened before a good attendance at the Town- Hall to-night, Pete Managoff (17.10.) defeating Pierre la Salle (16 6) by two falls to one. La Salle took his fall in the third round with a body press, after two drop-kicks. Thereafter Managoff was really the only one in it. He obtained an equalising fall in the fifth round with a dump. The bout ended in the sixth round when Managoff slammed his opponent into a oody pres, after a series of headlocks and drop-kicks. The match was marked by some clever wrestling, but Managoff obviously carried himself under wraps. BlomfieM ansi Raines p A AUCKLAND, May 2.
