CHILDREN’S PARTY AT MOANA
A successful children’s fancy dress party was held in the Moana Hall on Saturday. The judges were Mesdames Brereton and Dalzieil, of Kotoku. Prizes were awarded as follows: — i Cheapest, Beverley White (Night), Michael O’Brien (Indian). Period costume, Leo Mumford (Robinson Crusoe), Marie Southern (Spanish Queen). National, Billy Laugesen (Mexican), Yvonne Richardson (Gypsy). Nursery Rhyme, Brenda Southorn (Miss Muffet), Royce Kirk (Alladin). Funniest, Leon Price (Negro Minstrel), Paul Velenski (Dad Rudd). Prettiest, Judy Kirk (StarDust), Diane Kirk (Rainbow).
