RADAR USED FOR ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUN

The United States Army disclosed that a 90 millimetre anti-aircraft gun which, through the use of radar, can automatically track targets, and fire 25 rounds per minute, has arrived in the United States Zone of Germany, says the Associated Press Frankfurt correspondent. The new gun requires a crew of five technicians, and is electrically operated by remote control. It is described as a “most modern and effective defensive weapon against aircraft”. A modified design of the new gun has been mounted bn tanks.
