Rifle Shooting
There was a large attendance of members of the Westport Defence Rifle Club on the Fakahi range when the third and final shoot of the fourth competition was held at the week-end. The scoring was fairly good. D. ]Warr and J. R. Keoghan topped the list with 98 off the rifle. The frontal fish tail wind needed careful attention, as did the changing light. Conditions of the match were, 10 shots at 500 yards and 11 at 600 yards. Scores were: — D. Marr (2) 100; J. R. Keoghan (scr) 98: R. F. Marshall (4) 100; L. Mitchell (7) 100; D. Turner (7) 100; R.
