Rugby Referees

The Buller Rugby Referees.’ Association officers elected for this year are: President, Mr R. Pratt; vice-pre-sident, Mr G. Mason; secretary, Mr R. F. Marshall; delegate to Buller Rugby Union, Mr G. Mason. Referees available to conti’oi matches for the season are: Messrs R. F. Marshall, H. Williams, L. Eddy, G. Mason, J. Griffiths, A. B. Prescott (Westport), A. Reid and J. S. Dickson (Ngakawau), D. Gear (Seddonville), D. Brown (Denniston), J. Morgan (Stockton), R. Pratt (Waimangaroa). The president, in his annual . re - port, commented on the enthusiasm of members during the past season in spite of bad weather which at times affected the fixtures. He said that on some week-ends certain referees had to take as many as three games. Mr Pratt thanked the Buller Rugby Union and New Zealand Referees’ Association for courtesies extended to his association.
