INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC
GENEVA, December 15. The widespread influenza enidemic in Italy was in a mild form and gaye no cause for alarm, the United Nations World Health Organisation reported, quoting Italian health authorities. It added that the disease was on an epidemic scale in Rome, and had spread to the northern provinces.
